We've taken the 1930's J Class design and made it in 4 colors on an outdoor whirligig. The profile style hulls are hand-crafted out of solid wood and painted in Blue, Green, White and Red topsides with stained keels. Finished Epiphanes yacht enamels (topsides) and varnished with 3 coats of Flagship on the wood keels. (We use Sapele or Mahogany for the wood below the waterline.) The arms and post are made of vertical grain fir. Each arm has a sealed bearing for years of service and the boats are mounted with a marine service hinge to fold down the boats if the winds get too heavy.
The set comes complete with it's own 24" 2x2 post. Also included is all hardware including the deck screws to install the post in your desired location.
