Our half hulls are constructed with the same plank-on-bulkhead construction as our full size models. The back boards are made mostly now of Sapele mahogany and finished with several coats of Skidmore's fine wood finish. Each coat is hand rubbed into the wood with steel wood and then finished off with a coat of Skidmore's restoration cream and buffed.
